Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker - The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That should be a good addition once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.

Everything in one place, covering the full fee table, here withdrawal policies, and regulatory website details, is at Trade The Day.
